Stage 1 Now Selling at Seascape Encounter Bay

‘Seascape’, Encounter Bay’s brand-new housing development, has officially launched to the market.

The public is abuzz with the recent launch of the new Seascape housing development in Encounter Bay, South Australia. Positioned on a picturesque 35 hectares overlooking the beautiful waters of Encounter Bay, Seascape will be a master-planned community that will provide much needed housing opportunities to over 300 households.

On-site preparations for the early stages of civil construction later this year have begun with preliminary work now underway. Civecon Director Ian Day said “We are excited to be breaking ground on this catalyst project, and to be partnering with well-known builders to offer housing solutions to the locals and holiday-makers alike”.

The recent sales launch has generated strong interest from members of the public who are looking for land in the area. Fifteen allotments have been released with pricing starting at $209,000. The land is being sold by, Connekt.

Michael Gallagher, Sales Director at Connekt, said that they are seeing buyers who want to maximise their investment by securing land in the early stages of the project. “Seascape’s location and the views are what make it so unique, and buyers are recognising that there is a shortage of land in the south and want to secure a block while they can”.

The release adds much-needed supply to the Outer South region, in an area identified as having significantly limited greenfield land available for housing development.

A new Display Village will be constructed onsite, featuring designs from trusted local and Adelaide based home builders. “Building a new home can be daunting, especially in the current economic climate. That’s why we are thrilled to be able to offer our purchasers design inspiration, from quality and reliable home builders.” Mr Day said.

Seascape is set to include a variety of traditional house and land packages and bespoke hilltop villas, as well as shared resident amenities, such as bike and pedestrian paths, reserves and a mixed-use retail and commercial precinct. “We’re excited to unlock the full potential of the site and we are committed to preserving many of the natural and original features of the site, including restoring the original homestead” Mr Day confirmed.

Additionally, a future commercial precinct is planned for the later stages of the project. “We will be talking to independent supermarket brands as well as boutique retailers and allied health providers - we want to provide future residents with convenient onsite amenity.”

The Seascape site is located 3km from the Victor Harbor town centre and 1km from the beach. The site’s elevated position gives it the advantage of panoramic sea views. “The inspiration for the name ‘Seascape’ came from the incredible views. It really is just like a painting when you look towards the water at sunrise” Mr Day said.
